Tea Snob

Recently, I have become quite the tea addict and I have found that you can definitely taste the difference between high quality name brand tea’s and generic tea brands. Here are some of my favorite tea brands and the prices of each!

     1. Teavana

Teavana has always been a go to for me! Unfortunately, Starbucks has recently announced that they will be closing their stores and the online store as well because it hasn’t been as successful which I am extremely bummed out about! If you can get your hands on any loose leaf Teavana, I would highly recommend any of the flavors. My favorites were:

  • Ruby Red Chai
  • Youthberry; Wild Orange Blossom
  • Winterberry Tea Blend
  • Defense Wellness Tea
  • Beach Bellini Herbal Tea
  • Mulled Pomegranate
  • Serenity Wellness Tea
  • Moroccan Mint Tea

       2. Harney & Sons- Master Tea Blenders

Harney & Sons is my newest and currently favorite brand. My dad recently gave me a few of the Egyptian Chamomile Tea and I had to order and try some more! A box of 50 tea bags is $12.00 and can be purchased online which is always my go-to! They carry tea bags in 1 pound bags, 4 oz tins, and 50 count boxes. They also have a variety of loose tea sizes. My favorite’s are:

  • Egyptian Chamomile
  • Earl Grey
  • Chai Black Tea
  • Blood Orange Herbal Infusion Tea
  • Organic Breakfast Tea

Since this is a newly discovered brand I cannot wait to try so many other flavors! Another awesome thing I have recently found about Harney & Sons is that they have videos on their website to create amazing cocktails with their tea… who doesn’t love that!

     3. Tazo

Tazo tea was the first tea I had ever started drinking and it is still one of my favorite brands. You can find this brand almost anywhere and it is only around $4 to $5 for a box of 20 tea bags. My favorites are:

  • Zen
  • Passion
  • Moroccan Mint
  • Earl grey
  • Awake english breakfast
  • Calm chamomile
  • Black Tea

Drinking tea also has so many health benefits such as:

  1. Keeping bones healthy
  2. Calming factors
  3. The antioxidants in tea might help protect against a boatload of Cancers.
  4. Helps with Bloating
  5. Great for your skin
  6. Less caffeine than coffee
  7. May help with weight loss
  8. Boosts immune system
  9. Sooth digestive system
  10. Most importantly its delicious and calorie free!

XO, Calm Jord
